Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more dive time underwater, shorter surface intervals, especially on repetitive scuba dives. This is a great advantage if your diving at a tropical destination.

What is Enriched Air Nitrox?

It's a blend of Nitrogen and Oxygen, where there is less Nitrogen and more oxygen, then the air we breathe now.

What You Will Learn

  • Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox
  • Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
  • Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what's in your scuba tank by using analyzers and how to set your dive computer. (If you have a nitrox compatible computer please bring to class and the instruction manual for it.)

What Do I Need to Start

  • PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Minimum age: 15 years old

  • Enriched Air DVD (rental use or you may purchase the crew-pak with DVD for additional cost)
